We organize entrepreneurship programs in environmental management and sustainability and foster green investments.

Many environmental and socio-economic issues such as climate change, environmental pollution, deforestation and biodiversity loss, unemployment, poverty and bad governance have attracted significant attentions of the political and scientific community. Unfortunately, in developing countries, these core issues have been given less importance due to lack of interest and unavailability of skilled human resources. Situation is worse in Pakistan along with volatile situation of economy and governance and is one of those countries which are being and will be greatly affected by climatic and environmental fluctuations. .

Greenstep Foundation was established in 2018 as non-governmental organization and is registered under the Societies Registration Act, XXI of 1860 with one point agenda of ensuring sustainability through collaborative work. The organization works by conducting objective-oriented research and development work in collaboration with corporate sector and donor agencies and has multidimensional scope including health and sanitation, environmental education, gender equality, food security, poverty alleviation, sustainable agriculture, and climate action.

Environmental Sustainability

Achieving environmental sustainability is the prime goal for any society in its journey towards sustainable development. This encompasses controlling all those actions which have direct and indirect impact on the environment such as deforestation, pollution, soil erosion, biodiversity loss and hazardous waste.

Social Development

Social prosperity generally depends on the level of human well-being, health, education, and concept of equity as they are some of the indicators including demographic background, minorities and human rights, child protection.

Economic Growth

Economic sustainability encompasses strategies that promote the utilization of socio-economic resources to their best advantage. A sustainable economic model proposes an equitable distribution and efficient allocation of resources.

Our Goals

The Greenstep Foundation is committed to improve the quality of public health and environment for sustainable development in the region. The aims to be pursued by the Greenstep Foundation are:

1) To work for the improvement of marginalized communities in term of the education, health, sanitation, livelihood and well-being without any discrimination

2) To promote the environmental conservation by educating, encouraging and supporting the local people

3) To hold conferences, training courses, awareness events and seminars for presentation of scientific and technical papers and discussions related to sustainability

4) To conduct studies on various issues of education, health, environment, agriculture and development sectors, gather data and carry out research for sustainable development

5) To encourage entrepreneurship in order to improve quality of life of the communities, especially young people and women and facilitate them in getting sustainable livelihood opportunities

6) To develop and replicate sustainable business models in different geographical areas

7) To promote and take necessary steps for the enhancement of literacy rate by managing and facilitating schools, colleges and vocational training centers
